Why we build our own control software
Every screen, floor, arm and sensor we install runs on one control layer that we wrote. Here is why that matters more than the hardware.
A show is a hundred small decisions a second: which screen wakes, which sensor is trusted, what happens when a projector drops out. Off-the-shelf players make those decisions for a single device. We needed them made for the whole room.
So we wrote a control layer that every piece of hardware we sell speaks to. It schedules, it monitors, it fails over, and it gives the client one screen to see the whole installation from. When a client asks for something new, a new mode for a floor, a new trigger for a screen, it is a change in one place.
It also means we can promise uptime. The layer restarts what fails, logs what it did, and tells us before the client notices.
